What we desire collectively
After looking at television and the surrounding media i have come to one main conclusion about what our society desires. We look to ourselves to ellect a good enough president/leader to take care of our country and the people within it. Since the events of September 11th, we have been looking for a leader that will guide us away from terrorism and protect us from anything like that horrific day from ever happening again. Today if you look at television you will see the presidential candidates everywhere. Whether it is a debate they are personally giving on a local channel, or it is simply news channels talking about them, Barrack Obama and Hillary Clinton are all over the media these days. The reason being that we are coming closer to the 2008 election and we rely on each other to choose the better person for the presedential position. We look at the media and the opinions of each other as a hero to save us from horrible events like 9/11 from ever occuring again.
